The handset no longer requires a base station, because the COMFORT 550HX connects directly to the DECT base of your Internet router wirelessly. The only other thing you need is a power socket for the charging cradle, giving you maximum flexibility within your home and short distances to the phone.

If you would like to equip your landline system with additional handsets, the Gigaset COMFORT 500HX can also be connected to a telephone base station.
